As per The Hollywood Reporter…
All My Children’s Natalie Hall has made plans for the holidays.
The actress, who has played Colby Chandler on the long-running ABC soap opera, has booked the lead in the Hallmark miniseries Love’s Christmas Journey.
In the two-hour, two-part miniseries, slated to air in November, Hall will play Ellie King, a young pioneer woman who has suffered the loss of her husband and daughter.
In the mini, part of the Love Comes Softly series based on the books by Janette Oke, Ellie (Hall) will visit her brother Aaron (General Hospital’s Greg Vaughan), a sheriff in the small town of Haddonton, and his two children during the Christmas holiday. When a corrupt attorney in town leaves an innocent young man to blame for Mayor William Wayne’s (Sean Astin) barn catching fire and burning, Ellie steps in to help.
Dylan Bruce (As the World Turns), JoBeth Williams (Private Practice), Ryan Wynott (The Cape), Jada Mae Facer and Bobby Campo (CSI: Miami) co-star.
Dave Cass Sr., who helmed Hallmark’s 2002 miniseries Johnson County War, will direct.
Hall, repped by The Group Entertainment and Paradigm, will next be seen in an arc on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, where she’ll play Kate, the stepsister to Ashley Benson’s Hanna.
After being canceled in April, All My Children will air its final episode on Friday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m., with lifestyle series The Chew taking over the time slot on Monday, Sept. 26.
So proud of our girl! Amazing.

Great news for All My Children fans! All My Children has confirmed the return of 4 vets and among them is David Canary (Adam Chandler)! I am beyond excited to watch Nat & Jacob in scenes with their beloved father. Here’s a little statement…
AMC confirms that Julia Barr (Brooke), David Canary (Adam), original cast member Ray MacDonnell (Joe) and Lee Meriwether (Ruth) are all coming back. No first air dates are available yet, but all four will be back on-screen in September. “I can’t wait to work with David again!” cheers Jacob Young (JR).

I am equally excited to see that Brooke will be returning as well. Sadly, Colby & JR’s big sisters — Hayley & Skye will not be returning. Kelly Ripa (Hayley) has said that due to scheduling conflicts she and her husband, Mark Consuelos (Mateo) will not be able to make it out to California to tape for the show when they wanted them to. And Robin Christopher (Skye) is expected to return to General Hospital soon.
Admin Note: Expect the remaining captures for Natalie to be added hopefully before the weekend is out. I just got my new and improved (much faster) internet and I can now work on catching up in the gallery which shouldn’t take too long.
The deal has been made for All My Children & One Life To Live to continue on online! So get ready.

My friend Colleen has told me that according to Bobbie Eakes’ (Krystal) Twitter — the cast has been released from their current contracts pending negotiations with Prospect Park. We’ll keep you updated on Natalie’s status with the show. The plan is to continue on with the current hour long format of the show online but further details are not yet known i.e. how many days a week it will air etc. But for now enjoy this major victory soap fans.
Here we have a video from a few weeks ago of Natalie & Brandon on the red carpet at the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards Official Innovative Artists Pre-Party. They talked to Nikki Beach TV host Sabrina Robertson on the red carpet. How adorable are these two?
Note: I will be uploading the images soon.

Joel McHale had a little fun making jokes about Colby & Asher. Nat sounds good — but like she’s stated in the soap press — “Colby” is not a professional singer so why play it like that all the time. Plus it might have been the song.
I thought this was funny. But I think whenever Joel or Chelsea Handler crack jokes on the ABC/CBS/NBC soaps it is just that funny.

Here we have Nat’s March episodes. March was a rather fun month for me watching Colby on-screen. I loved her video blogs as she basically talked about the betrayal between her mother and boyfriend… it was heartbreaking at times watching her just spill out all this emotion she had inside. I liked Asher being there as a sounding board for her about what’s going on in her life. The scenes Nat did with JR (Jacob), Liza (Jamie), & Erica (Susan Lucci) were a lot of fun to watch. I really felt for her when JR was telling her that she had to stop airing her dirty laundry as it made the family look bad. The 16th was my absolute favorite episode and Natalie stole the show from the opening with her singing, to the fun scenes with Damon, the meaty emotional looks at Confusion and much more. All around it was a great episode.

Enjoy these newest additions!

It’s time to play catch-up and batch in all of our caps from Nat’s airdates for the past few months so get ready!
Sadly Nat only had 7 airdates but she knocked it out of the park when she finally realized the dark secret her mother was hiding in regards to her boyfriend Damon. I really hope next year those scenes get Natalie a Daytime Emmy nomination.
